Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just getting started, here's everything you need to know to create a killer One Bite Foodie review, share it with the world, and even earn some perks along the way.

 

1. How to Film a One Bite Foodie Review

Ready to start reviewing some delicious eats? Awesome! Follow these simple steps to create your One Bite Foodie review:

Step-by-Step Review Guide:

  1. Set the Scene: Begin your video by filming yourself at the restaurant or location where you’re reviewing the food. Show off the ambiance, the vibe, and—most importantly—the dish you’re about to review!

  2. Share the Restaurant Info: Tell your audience the name of the restaurant and where it’s located (city and state). Give them a little context so they know where to find it.

  3. Introduce the Dish: Show off the dish you’ll be reviewing. Describe the menu item and maybe even why you chose it. Be specific—what makes this dish special?

  4. You Know the Rules: Now, it’s time to say the magic words:
    "You know the rules. I'll take one bite, then give my review on a scale of one to ten."

  5. Take a Bite and Give Your Review: Take that bite! While chewing, describe the flavors, textures, and any other details about the taste. Is it crispy, tender, sweet, savory? How’s the overall experience? Then, give your score out of 10.

  6. Wrap it Up: Remind people to check out the links below your video for more information about the review, the restaurant, and how they can visit it themselves.

 

2. Uploading Your Review

Once you’ve filmed your review, it’s time to upload and share it with the world!

 

Upload Process:

  1. Upload Your Video: Head over to One Bite Foodie and click Upload to get started.

  2. Add a Catchy Title: Give your review a fun and eye-catching title that grabs attention. Be creative!

  3. Select a Cover Image: Choose an image from your video or upload one that best represents the dish and review.

  4. Enter Your Review Score: Type in the score you gave the food in your video so viewers can see it at a glance.

  5. Fill in Restaurant Details: Add the restaurant’s name, location, and any other relevant info.

  6. Write Your Written Review: While your video does most of the talking, your written review gives you a chance to add any extra thoughts or insights that didn’t make it into the video.

  7. Post Your Review: Once everything is filled out, hit Post! Your review is now live and ready to be shared.

 

3. Share Your Review

Sharing is caring, and it’s a great way to grow your foodie following!

  • Share with the Restaurant: After posting, you can share your review directly with the restaurant so they can promote it on their own platforms. This is a great way to build relationships with local eateries.

  • Share on Social Media: Use the share links to spread your review across social media like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Show the world your latest find and grow your audience of fellow foodies.

 

4. Your Verified Food Critic Page

One of the perks of being a member of One Bite Foodie is your very own Verified Food Critic page.

Here’s how you can use it:

  • Let Restaurants Know You’re a Critic: When you’re about to do a review, show the restaurant your Verified Food Critic page. This lets them know you’re there to give an honest review, and they may even hook you up with free food!

  • Monetize Your Reviews: You can earn money, free food, and tips by sharing your Verified Food Critic page with restaurants before filming. This gives them the chance to offer incentives for your review, and you can make the most of your food adventures.

 

5. How to Monetize Your Reviews

  • Visit your Settings Page and click on Monetization to learn about all the ways you can turn your food reviews into a money-making venture. From affiliate partnerships with restaurants to brand deals, we make it easy for you to earn while doing what you love.
